Join us for a Welcome Kit Donation Drive!

Support the Junior League of Greater New Haven's provisional class community project by donating basic bathroom and kitchen items to Columbus House (@columbushousect) to provide a warm welcome to families transitioning into stable housing.

These kits will include essential kitchen and bathroom needs to help individuals and families settle into their new homes with ease. Bring a friend and some essential items to help us create and donate kits! (See Welcome Kits flyer for specific items needed.)

Columbus House serves hundreds of individuals and families each year through emergency shelters, supportive housing, and outreach programs. Many arrive with few or no belongings, making it difficult to establish a stable and comfortable home environment. By providing basic household necessities like toiletries, kitchen supplies, and linens, our Welcome Home Kits offer both practical support and a sense of dignity and care.
